May 2005 is now officially the month of Elijah.

I don't like the word blog. It sounds like something that comes out of an orifice, which may be an apt metaphor for much of what I'll write here. Just trying to get my thoughts down, really. I'm a narcisistic, self-righteous child, so Ikind of need to. And maybe I'll write something interesting some time.

I'm now six weeks into the nineteenth and final quarter of my undergrad. That's 49 classes in 4.5 years, with 35 hours of a job per week. I'll be working my last day at that job on April 29, then walking (prematurely) in the graduation ceremony the next day. On May 2, I start my new job. An actual design job. On May 18, I'll have my last two classes, and the next day, my fiance and I will be driving down to the Cape for last minute wedding stuff, then Friday rehearsal and Saturday wedding.

What I'm listening to these past few days: 1. My 1,155 song, 2.5 day long R&B/Soul Mix 2. Nick Lowe - Labour of Lust 3. Bruce Springsteen - Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ 4. Bruce Springsteen - The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle 5. Mission of Burma - Vs. 6. Neil Young - On the Beach 7. M Ward - Transistor Radio 8. Spoon - A Series of Sneaks 9. William DeVaughn - Be Thankful for What You Got 10. Thin Lizzy - Dedication

Since sometime in 2002, I've been typing my thoughts into Bowlie pretty much on a daily basis, which seems as if it may be at the brink of implosion. Seems like I ought to have my own thing.

For the record, I'm not interested in life support, if such a dilemna should ever arise.
